DUNKIRK MOVIE REVIEW
IMDb: 8.4/10
Rotten Tomatoes: 93%
Roger Ebert: 3.5/4
Total Score: 95%

The latest Nolan movie to hit the big screen is Dunkirk, a beautiful, thrilling, intense war epic about the events that happened on the French beach Dunkirk in May 1940, which was the evacuation of British and French troops from the Germans on the mainland.
Hans Zimmers thrilling score adds immensely to the tension of the movie as done before in Nolan movies such as The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception and Interstellar. His music ranges from techno beats to the clicking of a stopwatch, all adding an amazingly powerful environment.
Nolan used different types of actors some rookies and some veterans such as the ‘main’ character being played by an unknown actor called Fionn Whitehead and the other ‘main’ character being played by Harry Styles, which for his acting debut gave a surprisingly good performance. He also included, a small but satisfying, performance from Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy.
This movie was not the common format for Nolan as it was actually quite short compared to his other films. There was hardly any dialogue in it but that did not stop the movie from being moving and powerful. Nolan relied heavily on the use of breath taking visuals of the beach, the sea and the fighter planes.
This movie is more than worth your time and so far the best movie I have seen in a good while. I personally think that it has earned all the ratings it has gotten from the list above and
